This unique event is presented by We Read Auckland and the Young Writers Society, a teen writing group based at Central Library. The live watch party at Ellen Melville Centre will offer food, book giveaways, and a chance to submit questions in real-time to Chloe. Afterwards, professor and author Paul Clark of Massey University will lead a special guided writing workshop. We welcome writers of all levels- bring some of your own writing if you want some help and new ideas!

About the Author:
Chloe Gong is a NZ bestselling author. Her YA debut, These Violent Delights, is a "hardboiled makeover" of Romeo and Juliet, set in 1920s Shanghai. Our Violent Ends is the conclusion to this riveting story, published in November 2021. She currently lives in New York City. Foul Lady Fortune will be published this year.
