A decade since its inception, CUMUN stands as a testament to the transformative power of youth diplomacy and intellectual engagement. It returns this year not merely as a conference, but as a celebration of confluence of minds dedicated to redefining the contours of global governance and justice. With this year’s theme, “𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐨-𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧,” CUMUN 2026 seeks to explore the intersection of justice and governance in shaping the cities of tomorrow. Since 2015, the Chittagong University Model United Nations Association (CUMUNA) has cultivated a legacy of excellence within Bangladesh’s diplomatic and academic landscape. Over the course of nine remarkable editions, CUMUN has evolved into a nexus where youth intellect converges with global vision, a crucible for advocacy and reformative thought. Now, in its decennial edition, CUMUN 2026 aspires to transcend its own legacy, setting new standards in the art of diplomacy and multilateral engagement.
This year, the 10th edition of CUMUN presents 10 committees, each meticulously curated to simulate some of the world’s most pressing global forums, enabling delegates to engage in nuanced negotiation and policy formulation.
