World-Class Performances:
Experience the brilliance of brass music, from the smooth tones of brass quintets to the commanding sound of a full symphonic brass ensemble. The festival lineup includes:
- “Funny Bones" Trombone Quartet, winners of the British Trombone Society Competition
- Cor8 All female Horn Ensemble
- West London Tuba Quartet
- Wigfield Brass Quintet
- A grand Symphonic Brass Ensemble finale, featuring iconic works such as Fanfare for the Common Man, Spitfire Prelude and Fugue, West side story and Pictures at an Exhibition (arr. Howarth)
Masterclass:
Get up close and dive deeper into the art of brass playing with an exclusive masterclass led by Elethereos Tsarmaklis, principal tuba of the London Philharmonic Orchestra of over 24 years. Lee shall be coaching talented players on stage, sharing tips, techniques, and insights while the audience gets an inspiring behind-the-scenes look at how great music is made. A perfect opportunity for budding brass players, music lovers and the curious alike - all welcome!
