About this Event
ChiRunning uses the principles of Tai Chi to align and relax the body while moving to help create more enjoyment to running with less impact or injury risk. It is wonderful for beginners and experienced runners alike, and has helped the lives of thousands of runners across the globe. It can truly be a game changer to your running... you don't want to miss it!
About this workshop:
This workshop will consist of instruction on the core principles of running efficiently in a fun small group environment. We will go over posture and body alignment indoors, then will head outside (rain or shine:) to practice the principles while running with instructor guidance. Total distance is less than 2 miles with lots of breaks to explain the lessons. After class there is an option to run on your own or schedule follow up lessons with Dr Corey at his clinic.
About Dr. Trent Corey:
Dr Trent Corey is a physical therapist and certified ChiRunning Instructor with over 30 years of running experience. He is also Head Boys Cross Country Coach at Skyview High School. He has a great passion to help runners overcome injuries and limitations to realize their highest potential.
