About Chinmaya Mission
The Chinmaya Mission, founded in 1953 by Swami Chinmayananda, aims to share the wisdom of Vedanta with all seekers, regardless of background, to inspire positive contributions to society. Swami Chinmayananda, observing the paradox of material progress yet human discontent, believed Vedanta held the answers to life’s challenges. Traditionally restricted to a select few, he sought to make this knowledge accessible to all. Today, the Mission, with numerous centers worldwide, continues to spread Vedanta, revitalizing India's ancient philosophy and enriching minds globally.
