Join Fresh Approach at the Richmond Certified Farmers' Market to support facilitating Market Match, California’s healthy food incentive program that matches customers’ CalFresh nutrition assistance benefits at farmers’ markets. Market Match helps shoppers stretch their food budgets by matching their withdraw of CalFresh/EBT benefits with additional dollars to spend on fresh fruits and veggies. This program supports both community health and local farmers by making fresh, local food more affordable and accessible.
Volunteers will support with Mandarin translation and customer service, as well as promotion of the Market Match program to shoppers at the market.
