The School of Continuing Education at the British University in Egypt in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts & Humanities is offering an "𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦."
𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
- Accurately recognize and produce basic Chinese sounds, including initials, finals, and tones, for clear communication in elementary business contexts.
- Apply Hanyu Pinyin rules to read aloud and pronounce unfamiliar words and short sentences with acceptable accuracy.
- Use basic Chinese vocabulary and sentence patterns to handle simple business and workplace interactions, such as greetings and self-introductions.
- Understand and appropriately respond to short spoken Chinese exchanges related to familiar business situations.
- Participate in short, guided business conversations using rehearsed and semi-rehearsed dialogues with increasing confidence and fluency.
- Demonstrate awareness of basic Chinese business communication conventions, including politeness strategies and cultural norms.
- Communicate basic information and intentions in Chinese business settings using simple structures with limited errors that do not affect overall understanding.
𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Program Duration: 36 hours / 5 weeks
Prior to Ramadan: three days per week ( Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays ).
During Ramadan: two days per week, (Sundays, Saturdays)
Timing:
Prior to Ramadan: From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
During Ramadan: From 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Tentative Starting Date: 25/1/2026
Age Range: Starting 18 and above
