Amit Elazari, Co-Founder and CEO,
Dr. Amit Elazari is the Co-Founder and CEO of OpenPolicy, the world's first tech-enabled policy intelligence and engagement platform, aiming to democratize access to policy to entities of all sizes. She teaches at the University of California (UC), Berkeley School of Information Master in Information and Cybersecurity, & RUNI, and serves as a member of the External Advisory Committee for the UC Berkeley Center of Long Term Cybersecurity. Amit is also a public speaker and often keynotes or speaks at global conferences such as RSA Security, BlackHat, CES, and SXSW. Prior to OpenPolicy she was Head of Global Cybersecurity Policy at Intel Corporation, responsible for shaping and executing Intel’s global security policy and government affairs engagement across all of Intel technologies. In 2023 she chaired the Cybersecurity Policy Committee for the Information Technology Industry Council, U.S. leading Tech trade association, and the Linux Open Source Security Foundation public policy committee. Amit holds a Doctoral Degree in the Law (J.S.D.) from UC Berkeley School of Law, the world’s leading law institution for technology law, and graduated summa cum laude three prior degrees in law and business.
Joe Merrill, CEO,
Joe Merrill is the CEO of OpenTeams, the company at the heart of everything happening in AI. Over his varied career, Joe was a US diplomat, VC, corporate executive, and entrepreneur. He worked at the US Department of State, John Deere, an Apollo-Carlyle fund, and founded his own VC fund. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago in Finance and Economics, and a BA (Hon) in East Asian Studies from the University of California, Davis.
Jennifer Riccardi, Senior Trade Advisor, (MODERATOR)
Jen Riccardi serves as a Senior Trade Advisor in the Delegation of the European Union in Washington, DC. She is responsible for promoting transatlantic trade throughout the United States. Her portfolio notably includes trade in services and investment, the Trade and Technology Council, and the Transatlantic Initiative on Sustainable Trade. Prior to joining the Delegation, Jen was the Economic Counselor at the Embassy of Luxembourg, ran a small consulting group, and was the Senior Advisor for Trade and Investment at the British Embassy Washington. From 1993-2005, Jen practiced international trade law at Dewey Ballantine. She studied political science and history at Fordham University and earned her JD from the George Washington University.
