Join us for our next session where we will celebrating Valentine's day by writing love letters to ourselves .
About this Event

Please Note: This session is for those who identify as women and are over 18 only.

Writing yourself a love letter is a great way to appreciate things you have achieved, things you are grateful for, and things that you love about yourself, such as your kindness, positivity and determination. Focusing on positive emotions is very powerful, and we hope this activity will encourage reflection, provide emotional healing, and give you a confidence boost. Session materials will be provided by Chin Up Cardiff 💖✍🏽💌.

Chin Up Cardiff is dedicated to creating a safe and empowering space for survivors of sexual assault in Wales. Foster a non-therapeutic environment that allows individuals with similar experiences to come together, find validation, and navigate their healing journey at their own pace.

Utilise the Chin Up Cardiff's support group by writting a love letter to yourself alongside others accessing, with three of our lovely Chin Up team members present throughout the session. This sessions aims to provide a supportive atmosphere with the focus on reflection and creative writting, providing social engagement within a space that understands and accommodates survivors of sexual assault.

The session will be held in the cozy, tranquil, private yurt in Paradise Gardens. All supplies will be provided. You can buy teas, coffees or something stronger from the bar and tap water will be provided.

It is completely FREE to attend the session. If you would like to donate to the running costs of Chin Up we have a Go Fund Me linked on our website.

Please be aware that the Chin Up team are female but men my be present at the venue as customers/staff in the cafe.

There are limited places due to staffing and the size of the venue, so we ask that you only book a place if you are planning to attend. If you are unable to attend, please cancel and let us know so.
