Please Note: This session is for those who identify as women and are over 18 only.
Join us for our last session of 2024, where we will be making clay decorations from homemade salt clay. You can go for a festive vibe and make something for your tree, or just make something nice to hang up at home. There will be the opportunity to paint and decorate some pre-made clay decorations as well as having a go at making your own from scratch. All the materials will be provided. 🎨
Chin Up Cardiff is dedicated to creating a safe and empowering space for survivors of sexual assault in Wales. Foster a non-therapeutic environment that allows individuals with similar experiences to come together, find validation, and navigate their healing journey at their own pace.
Utilise the Chin Up Cardiff's support group by getting involved in clay art alongside others accessing, with three of our lovely Chin Up team members present throughout the session. This sessions aims to provide a supportive atmosphere with the focus on creating deccorations, providing social engagement within a space that understands and accommodates survivors of sexual assault.
The session will be held in the cozy, tranquil, private yurt in Paradise Gardens. You can buy teas, coffees or something stronger from the bar and tap water will be provided.
It is completely FREE to attend the session. If you would like to donate to the running costs of Chin Up we have a Go Fund Me linked on our website.
Please be aware that the Chin Up team are female but men my be present at the venue as customers/staff in the cafe.Â
There are limited places due to staffing and the size of the venue, so we ask that you only book a place if you are planning to attend. If you are unable to attend, please cancel and let us know so. Â
