Champ’s Annual Chiming Event Celebrates the onset of Daylight Savings Time and Shares our Clock Selection and Collection with you .It begins with the gentle ticking of majestic Grandfather Clocks, wagging tails and eyes of classic Kit-Cat clocks and suddenly the first Cuckoo calls from a distance. The rich gongs, bells, and chimes begin to swell with an added blend of musical animated and nostalgic tones of time telling history, slowly filling the room.
If you still are having a hard time with your imagination, treat yourself to reality at our 18th annual Chimes of 1000 clocks event.
2026 marks Champ's Clock Shops 59 th year in the Clock Business in it’s original location here in Douglasville Georgia.
Once again we celebrate by treating our guests to an experience of our symphony of 1000 Clocks Chiming.
Champ's is the only place in the world where you can experience a chiming event of this magnitude. Our staff will spend the better part of a 2 weeks winding mechanical clocks, Changing batteries in quartz clocks and synchronizing the time on all our clocks for one great day filled with chimes that is truly a one of a kind experience.
See displays of movie props and our clocks used in the 2018 Movie "The House with a Clock in it's walls". And Clocks used in the 2024 movie “Red One”.
This event is always a media circus of camera flashes, videos making and the joining of clock lovers.
You will have ringing in your ears when Jeff Rings the 34" 800 pound McShane Church bell.
Bring your friends, family, your cameras and maybe Ear Plugs. Get a Selfie with the World's Largest Real Black Forest Cuckoo clock.
Don't worry about lunch, It's on us, with Free Hot Dogs, Chips, Cookies and Coke products while they last.

Returning in 2024 and for all future events: The Big Cats Back! Yes! The worlds largest Kit Cat Clock is back at Champs and this time for good. We’ve adopted him.
Car and Bike Clubs welcome. Set up early and show your pride and joy.
For those that can not make it on Saturday, You will experience Hundreds of clocks chiming all through the shop towards the end of the week prior to Saturday the day of the event.
This is an annual event. Always the Saturday before the Spring Forward onset of Daylight Savings Time.
