To all COC members,Notice of general meeting being held 7pm on the 1st Monday of each month
Doors open 6:30pm @ Chilliwack Senior Secondary School. Come out and get to know existing and new club members along with trip leaders and a new slate of board members.
This year we'll cover topics such as trip leadership, proper clothing and equipment, trip planning, trip navigation and how to sign up for trips (or how to lead your own trip). Also, we'll discuss the upcoming Christmas party with turkey dinner and live band, free to all members.
Long time members are a great source of knowledge. If you have questions, just show up and ask.
Membership of 318 members remains stable (we had 317 members same time last year).
For your entertainment on Monday September 29, Allana Warkentin, Director At Large has arranged for guest speaker Lori Roberts to attend and provide a presentation about Bear Awareness.
