A Jeep Tailgate and Chili Cook-off @ Maplewood State ParkCome out and enjoy Maplewood State Park, the gates open at 8am, the Jeep Tailgate & Meet and Greet starts at 10am (coffee time!), and the chili cook-off tasting starts at noon.
Our event location has a "kitchen" with sinks and power outlets for the Chili cooks as well as ample seating and restrooms for the family.
everyone is encouraged to bring their Chili game and enter the Cook-off, but if you just want to hang out and taste the Chili that's okay!
Chili cook-off contestants will be handing out tasters so bring your appetite, then vote for your favorite chili by leaving a spoon at that chefs table. winner gets a ChiliFest trophy and bragging rights til next year's cook-off.
feel free to bring the whole family and enjoy the day at the park, a day pass is $7 if you don't already have the park pass, you can also do some hiking and check out all the lakes, it should be an awesome day!
