About this Event
Join us for a Chili Cookoff Benefit supporting our BBQ Austin tent, with proceeds helping BBQ Austin continue its mission of supporting the youth of Texas. This community-driven event brings together great food, friendly competition, and a meaningful cause.
General Admission guests will enjoy loads of amazing chili samples and receive three voting tickets to help crown the People’s Choice winner.
Competing Teams are invited to bring the best chili you know how to make and compete for bragging rights and incredible prizes:
1st Place: $100 Tejas Gift Card + Shiner Brewery Tour
2nd Place: $75 Tejas Gift Card + Tejas Seasoning Basket
3rd Place: $50 Tejas Gift Card
Rules:
- Teams must be registered and paid prior to the event.
- One chili entry per team. Chili must be prepared off-site and brought ready to serve.
- Chili must be kept at a safe serving temperature at all times.
- No on-site cooking or open flames.
- General Admission guests receive 3 voting tickets.
- Guests may not vote for the same team more than once.
- Good sportsmanship is required—tampering or vote manipulation will result in disqualification
