Location: Walk format – sample chili at multiple locations throughout Downtown Sun Prairie
Event Overview:
Warm up your fall with the first Chili Cookoff, hosted by the Sun Prairie Lions Club as part of Fall Fun! Sample delicious chili from local contestants then cast your vote for and cheer on your favorite team. Contestants compete for the best overall chili, with winners announced at 5:00 PM at The Loft.
Tickets:
Public Tasting: $10 per person
Includes tasting from all participating teams and the opportunity to vote for your favorite chili.
Contestants:
Registration Fee: $25 per team
Teams cook chili off-site and bring it ready to serve in crockpots
Must prepare a minimum of 16 quarts (4 gallons) of chili
Registration closes Monday, October 13, 2025
Additional Info:
This is a walk-style event, so you can sample chili at various downtown locations.
All tasting ticket holders and contestants are required to acknowledge a liability waiver.
All proceeds benefit the Sun Prairie Lions Club and their community programs.
