Who is the best Chili Cook in your neighborhood?
Do you love chili? Then, we're looking for you! We want your best chili recipes and taste testers!
If you think your chili recipe is the best, then we challenge you to submit it for a public voting. The first 10 registrants will go head-to-head for the title of best chili, not to mention a $50 Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery gift card. Second and third place win prizes as well! Interested in putting your chili to the test? Stop into the tasting room during business hours to register, only $10 to enter! Participants must be present on February 1st at 4 p.m. when the winner is announced.
Perhaps you don't make the best, but you love a bowl of this warm winter food. Then, come on over to cast your vote! On February 1st from 12 to 3:30 p.m. you'll be able to taste a sample of all the chili submissions (quantities vary based on availability throughout the day). All members of the public who taste the chili entries will have an opportunity to vote.
Rules for chili submissions:
- Cook and registrant must be 21 or over to participate.
- Chili must be delivered by noon on February 1st in a large working crock-pot that is labeled with the registrants name and phone number.
- Chili must fill the large crock-pot 3/4 of the way.
- $10 register fee - Register by stopping into the tasting room or calling. Only the first 10 registrants will be accepted.
Winners will be selected by the public, so the more chili you bring, the better your chance of winning.
