Cocoon will be hosting its 1st ever chili cook-off on Sunday November 10th. We are going to cap this at 10 contestants, first come first serve.The cost for entry is $25 and will get you 4 Free Cocoon beer tokens. Bring your chili pre cooked or cook it here, judging will be at 2pm and doors open at 11am. If you choose to cook it here you will need your own cooking vessels, otherwise bring your crock pot or whatever heat source you would like.
Rules
-Any chili goes, noodles no noodles, chicken, beef, pork, vegan, green chili, white, etc. Whatever you think is the best you have.
-You can bring your chili already pre made.
-Each customer will receive a card with all 10 contestants on it and they will be voting for a winner and 2nd place in peoples choice
-We will have 3 judges doing a blind tasting. Judges will be our head brewer Josh Green, Mister Burns (the hot pepper king of Green Bay, and one mystery judge. This will be for the Grand Champion
-The judges will be given a sealed numbered container to judge at the start of the competition.
-Cocoon will supply bowls and spoons and have a table for garnishes but please feel free to bring anything that you think will enhance your chili in addition to the cheese and oyster crackers supplied.
-Please bring a serving laddle
