They were all heavily influenced by the members of Toto, who were themselves the kings of the LA recording scene in the 70’s and 80’s. “We were always jamming on Toto songs in between takes in the studio. Eventually we realized we ought to give everyone an opportunity to enjoy this music as much as we do. That’s why Child’s Anthem was formed. Above all, the songs are incredibly fun to play. The response to the band has been very gratifying.”
