Each day, Monday to Thursday, the children participate in a 45 minute ballet class, followed by a 45 minute creative dance class. There is a 15-minute refreshment break in between classes, and students can bring a small snack along with a drink.

Over the course of the week the children will create two dances.  The children will shape the story they tell through their dance, choosing characters and developing steps and sequences of movement that are based on a theme.

In ballet, the children will be introduced to ballet steps and classical mime appropriate to their age.

Each class will be taught by an experienced RAD teacher or professional dance artist. With live music throughout the week.

On Friday, each class will be one hour long to all the participants to perform their dances.  Parents will be invited to watch a filmed sharing*

*subject to change according to prevailing government guidance and in accordance with photography and filming permissions sought at the time of registering.

These sessions will be led by professional dancers who are currently studying on our PDTD programme.
