About the Illustrator:
Renee Kurilla is the illustrator of many children’s books, including Orangutanka, Chicks Rule!, and the Ada Lace series. She is also the author-illustrator of several titles, including the #1 New York Times bestseller Just Because by Matthew McConaughey, One Springy, Singy Day and The Flower Garden, a 2022 ALA Graphic Comics Round Table Best Graphic Novel Pick.
