You’ve probably heard the saying that everyone wants to write a novel. Well, double that for children’s books! Why? We were all once kids and teens and remember with such fondness the books of our youth that we want to give that to the next generation. But how and where to start?Join author Silvia Acevedo as she breaks down the types of books for kids, their conventions, tips for compelling stories, and how to get published in the kid-lit market. She will also talk about illustrating, self-publishing, working with a literary agent, and the benefits of volunteering for a creative organization.
