Speakers

Lynn Wong is the founder of Qixi Fest, an initiative to revive and reimagine the "Wish upon the Stars" festival which was once grander than Chinese New Year but disappeared for more than half a century in Singapore. Well-recognised for her dedication and innovative efforts to preserve and promote Chinese heritage in Singapore, her accolades include being a Singaporean of the Year finalist, Ten Outstanding Young Persons Honouree of Cultural Achievement, and the inaugural Outstanding Clan Youth Awardee.

Chloe Chang created Qiqi, the mascot of Qixi Fest which made its debut in 2023. She was recently honoured as the Illustrator of the Year at first Singapore Children’s Book Festival 2024. Before she became a full-time freelance illustrator five years ago, she was a storyboard artist at a creative agency and a lead character designer at an animation facility. Since then, she has more than 20 children’s books published locally and overseas.
