About this Event
On the magical eve of Thursday 3 November 2022 Holland International School students are cordially invited to this party of royal allure.
All children from pre-school, reception class up to group 8 will be the VIP's. Think: Royal Blue carpet, golden glitter, festive outfits combined with magicians, music, dinner and dance and lots more to dazzle the young crowd!
For our pre-school, reception class party guests as well as for students from groups 1 and 2 the gala will start and end a little earlier than for groups 3 through 8. See below for program and ticket prices.
VENUE
The Hollandse Club is proud to welcome all Holland International School students at the place where it all started over 100 years ago. In 1920 the first students of our school were educated in a room at the Hollandse Club!
TICKETS
Ticket sales are open until 14 October 2022. It will not be possible to buy tickets at the door. The organization needs to know in advance how many students will walk the blue carpet on 3 November.
Pre-school, reception class and groups 1 - 2: 15.30 – 17.00 Ticket price: 25 SGD
For this group, adult or parental guidance is mandatory. No need to purchase an extra ticket.
Groups 3 – 5: 17.30 – 19.30 Ticket price: 25 SGD
Groups 6 – 8: 17.30 - 20.30 Ticket price: 25 SGD
All ticket prices are including 7%GST, eventbrite services and processing fees.
This event is only accessible for current students of Holland International School! Please make sure you only register and buy tickets if your children are enrolled at Holland International School in Singapore. We are not able to handle refunds for non-enrolled children.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!
This event is not to be missed! In order to allow the children to fully enjoy this gala and to ease their parents' minds, please read the following:
- The same allergy restrictions that apply to school lunches apply to the food served as well; a strict no-nuts policy;
- Aquaducks is a HSL100 sponsor and their team will safeguard the children from wandering off to the pool that is off limits;
- For easy access and registration, please have your child bring the printed ticket / eventbrite QR code to the event;
- All registered attendees will be given a colourful wristband upon registration to easily identify applicable party time slots;
- Holland International School will have staff present to help streamline the event;
- The organization has arranged for a chill out area in the Singapura room for children who wish to take a step back from the festivities and have a quiet moment in an adult supervised, airconditioned room.
- Dresscode,: from superhero outfits and princess dresses to glittery gala outfits and handsome tuxedos, anything festive goes! A dash of royal blue or vintage gold ties in with the decor.
- We introduce 'Style Sustainably': look out for announcements for the festive clothing swop meets at school: share, swop and swirl!
- Please do not arrive early, as doors will open exactly at the start times mentioned. There is no waiting area available.
- Please make sure you collect your child according to the end time as mentuioned on the ticket. Unfortunately the organization cannot be responsible for children that are not collected in time.
FAQ:
Q: I have 1 child in pre-school, one child in group 3 and one in group 6, how does ordering tickets work?
A: You buy 1 ticket for timeslot 15.30 - 17.00, 1 for 17.30 - 19.30 and 1 for 17.30 - 20.30. It is mandatory for an elder (parent, guardian or caregiver) to attend first timeslot.
Q: I am a member of the Hollandse Club. Can I wait around to collect my child(ren)?
A: There is seating reserved. Please follow signs on the evening of the event.
Q: I have 2 children in reception class and group 2, but we cannot be there to supervise. Can my children still attend?
A: Cannot lah. See ticket sales guidelines: supervision by an elder is mandatory.
Q: What happens if I buy tickets and my child cannot attend?
A: We will refund the ticket if your child is ill on the day of the event or in case of a family energency. Refund requests need to be submitted via eventbrite before the start of the event.
