Local children's book author Andrea K. Smith will be here doing a reading for kids. She will be reading two of her books, "A Good Night Cookie" and "Island Life". Andrea K. Smith has been working with children and families as an early childhood educator for over 25 years. She has always enjoyed sharing the passion of reading and acting out stories to the little ones in her classroom. When not traveling and exploring new adventures, she resides in CT with her wonderful husband Christopher.
"A Good Night Cookie" follows a farm dog on her daily routine around the farm and town..a short story that shares sweet bond.. told through simple language and beautiful illustrations.
"Island Life" describes life on the island of Key West..a balance of the good life..tropical breezes and an appreciation of a simple way of life..Island Life.
She will also have books for sale after her reading.
