For the over a decade bestselling children’s author Felice Arena has been one of this country’s most popular and in-demand speakers in schools and festivals. His presentations are high-energy sessions that incorporate interactive readers’ theatre improvisations with students. All of the performance-based activities that he employs in his presentations – for which he draws on his acting experience – are aimed at bringing his stories to life and jump-starting a lifelong love of books.
Felice is one of Australia’s much-loved children’s authors. His books have topped bestseller lists and garnered several awards, including six Australian Children’s Choice Book Awards. His works include the incredibly popular Specky Magee series, the hilarious Farticus Maximus books, Whippersnapper, Wish, the Boyz-Rule and Girlz-Rock books, the action-packed bionic-hero series Andy Roid, the Sporty Kids series and most recently his acclaimed historical adventure novels The Boy and the Spy, Fearless Frederic and A Great Escape.

This event is a Big Summer Read event and is suitable for primary school aged children.
Bookings are preferred. Please book for each child attending.
