On Friday, 14 November 2025, all students and staff are invited to a non-uniform day to help raise vital funds for BBC Children in Need. The suggested donation is £1, but please contribute what you can. We will collect donations on the day as we welcome students into school on the green line or you can donate via ParentPay directly to Children in Need at https://app.parentpay.com/ParentPayShop/Foc/Default.aspx?shopid=19710.
Students need to remember they are at school, so non-uniform items should be appropriate for working in a classroom environment. Normal PE kit, please.
This year’s campaign is ‘Challenge Yourself’ and our students are invited to run a bake sale to raise additional funds! If your child is baking, please ensure they tell their Form Tutor, clearly label their container and include a list of ingredients in case anyone has any allergies. Baked items should be brought to Student Services before form time on Friday 14 November.
To encourage higher fundraising, we have a special incentive. If anyone would like to wear fancy dress, they need to raise at least £30. This can be done through sponsorship or direct donations. Costume ideas must be checked with their Head of Year or Year Group SLT link in advance.

We are regularly amongst the top fundraising schools in the country. Let's really go for it and help raise vital funds that will make a huge difference to the children and young people who need us the most.
