Are you a fan of Jane Austen or Bridgerton? Did you like the dances you read or viewed? Join us on October 24 and experience the joy of a festive frolic or the elegant and stately steps with a roomful of other dancers. No experience is necessary. All dances are taught, walked through, and called during the dance. No partner is necessary. But if you have a friend who would like to come, by all means bring your friend. We enjoy sharing English Country Dancing with new people.No costume is necessary, dress comfortably. It's almost Halloween so you may want to don a favorite Halloween themed shirt, beads, earrings, or hat. We love holidays!
Peter Wollenberg will be our dance leader this month. It's the month of October and I'm sure Peter will have a few Halloween inspired dances.
Music by Ragged Robin. Martha Edwards (violin), Bill Boyer (keyboard), and possibly Tim Hirzel (various recorders and percussion) will fill the hall with lovely tunes.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Payment can be made by cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
