Childbirth Education Classes (In person)

Feeling overwhelmed about what to expect during childbirth? Come join us for a comprehensive 4-week session to meet other parents, know options, learn what is normal & what is not, differentiating true from false labor, when to come into the hospital, how to manage discomforts from pregnancy through labor/childbirth to postpartum, including how to take care of your bundle of joy! Each week focuses on different topics, with the general outline as follows.

Week 1: Importance of Communication, What to Expect

Week 2: Labor, Pain Management, Positioning

Week 3: Pushing, Postpartum, Tour

Week 4: Baby Care and Car Seat Check

NOTE: Participants should bring a yoga mat &/or blanket, and pillow for week 2 & 3. For week 4, please bring a doll/stuffed animal to practice bathing & diapering and have your car seat available in your vehicle.
