About this Event
This one-day class for couples covers a wide range of topics, including the stages of labor, pain management options (such as breathing techniques, relaxation methods, and medical interventions), the birthing process, postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Additionally, we address the emotional and physical changes during pregnancy and postpartum, encourage informed decision-making, and foster open communication between partners and healthcare providers. By providing a supportive environment, this class aims to empower parents, reduce anxiety, and promote a positive childbirth experience.
The room number and building will be sent to you with a reminder notice of class two days before. No food is available on campus on Saturdays, so bring a lunch or plan to go off campus during lunch break.
Mandy Webb Hancock is a 10-year certified childbirth educator as well as a certified trauma-informed and inclusive doula specializing in birth, postpartum, and bereavement support.
Registration fee is $75 per couple.
