About CGC JaxChild Guidance Center (CGC Jax), founded in 1951, is the largest provider of outpatient and community-based mental health and behavioral health services to children, adolescents and their families in Jacksonville. The Center employs over 125 professionals who provide integrated services to more than 4,600 children, adolescents and families each year. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities awarded the highest level of accreditation to Child Guidance Center for school-based, outpatient, and case management services. Our mission is investing in our community by providing counseling and support services to assist children and families in reaching their fullest potential.
