¡Andale, amigos! Get amped for an adrenaline-fueled afternoon of tiny pup power at Dog Bar's 6th Annual Chihuahua de Mayo Race Extravaganza. These miniature flechas will be tearing up the short track, competing for epic prizes and raising funds for two amazing local rescues - Limbo Chihuahua and Skyway Dachshund.
Do you have a Dachshund, Chihuahua, or another small breed dog under 30lbs? Well, sign them up and let their inner speedster loose at our thrilling Chihuahua race event at Dog Bar! Sign-ups are open now at Dogbarstpete.com. There is a $5 race entry fee per dog.
Race Rules: The races kick off at 2pm, with the final showdown taking place around 4pm. Competitors need to check in 30 minutes before race time. Dogs will race in heats of 4, matched by age, weight, and breed for the fairest and most exciting races. Winners of the breed heats will advance to the mixed breed Championship round, capping off the day with a thrilling finale.
But that's not all; there will be a costume contest at 4:30pm, raffle prizes, a DJ, Jell-O shots, and spectators can cheer their hearts out for their favorite micro racer while indulging in our killer drink specials, including "dog" and human margaritas that are a vibe. And don't sleep on the fire tacos from Masa's food truck. Let's see those sombreros and chi chi's!
