Hay Folks! You've been asking, and our Chicken Husbandry & Butchery Workshops are back for 2025 by popular demand! Join us for a day of fun, feathers and fowl language on the farm 🐔
If you have self-sufficiency and skill-up goals this year, plan ahead and enroll yourself in our comprehensive 1/2 day workshop.
Not only will we send you home with two table ready pasture raised meat birds, and the hands-on skill set to process those birds from field to freezer. We'll also cover pastured poultry husbandry; including brooding, feeding, equipment and management.
While we'll focus on teaching you with the same tools you'll have available to you as a small farm, we'll explore our WSDA licensed processing unit for an in-depth look at the next steps involved in raising pastured poultry for market.
Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to empower all levels from the beginning homesteader to the low-volume retail producer.
