A Regency Ball Extravaganza at The Assembly Room
Step back in time to the elegance and charm of the Regency period with a Bridgerton-inspired ball at the historic Assembly Room. Upon arrival, you will be met by a host and escorted up the grand staircase, where you will be formally announced into the Ball, setting the tone for an evening of refinement and delight.
Trained Regency Dancers, adorned in period costumes, will be on hand to guide you through the graceful dances of the era. No need to worry about having a partner; their expert callers will ensure everyone is included and able to partake in the joyous dancing.
The evening will be serenaded by the Chichester University Orchestra, filling the air with enchanting chamber music that perfectly complements the ambiance of the Assembly Room.
As you dance and mingle, a splendid buffet of sumptuous grazing foods awaits you in the historic, wood-panelled Council Chamber. This room, with its walls adorned with portraits of past mayors, offers a perfect setting for a delightful culinary experience.
The Ball will culminate in a lively DJ set, where you can dance the night away until carriages at 11:30 pm.
