Does Chichester Film Makers provide any form of skills development or training?
In short, yes!! We are a group of professional film makers who have come together to make high-quality films. During the production of our films, we offer the chance for the community, including students, to get involved, from pre-production, during the film shoot, and post-production.
You'll have the chance to work with experienced professionals from both sides of the lens, including acting, the camera and cinematography department, lighting, rigging, sound, costume & makeup department, production logistics & co-ordination, visual effects, sound design, music writing, editing (VERY IMPORTANT), storyboarding, script development, project planning, location scouting and management, crowd control, health & safety, film screening, film distribution, and film festival management, film sales and marketing, casting, stunt co-ordination and many more areas besides.
Each area requires a specific set of skills and is key to the success of a film. Chichester FilmMakers offers the chance to learn new skills and develop existing skills, as well as providing IMDb credits to those that get to work and contribute with a film production.
Please ask the organisers at this event for more information, or, email us at [email protected]
Featuring a screening of our award winning short-film (in the auditorium), The Barn, as supported by Kate Winslet and many local charities including the Chichester Arts Forum and Chichester International Film Festival.
