Let’s connect and build the Chicago STEP’N community together!
Come out to Lincoln Park for a walk/jog/run with fellow STEPN community members and talk all things game and other. As we’re leveling up our sneakers in the game, let’s explore and enjoy the Social-Fi element of the project! All STEP’N NFT holders, family, friends, or curious others are able to participate free!
We’ll meet at 10:30 am by the South Pond and have a 30-minute hangout while we wait for everyone to arrive. At 11:00 we’ll start walking, jogging and running in groups (based on your sneaker speed) around the South Pond and then towards Lakefront trail and North avenue beach (~2miles/3.2km)l. We’ll take a group shot with the city skyline on the back and then stop by at the local cafes for drinks, meals and to chat and discuss all things STEPN, web 3.0 and generally just have an enjoyable day and meet-up.
A special guest from the Japanese StepN community – Shun @iwashu_eth will be joining us for this event, while he’s in the States for a short trip. They just organized a similar event in Tokyo and he would be open to sharing his experiences with us.
If you’re in the Chicago area but can’t attend the event – there’s a STEPN hat prize gonna be shipped for a winner of the Twitter photo contest. To participate – post on Twitter Stepn activity log + photos from your favorite places in the city, a landmark, or a park you’re running through. Use #ChicagoSTEPN tag. Results will be announced on a weekend after the event. Only one winner.
*There will also be some STEPN merchandise given out to all attendees, so make sure you sign up and get in early, limited supply available.
