Ricardo Castañeda (Oboe)
Ricardo Castañeda is an outstanding oboist holding Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Performance from Northwestern University, where he studied under Ray Still, former principal oboist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Currently, he serves as principal oboist of the Chicago Sinfonietta and English horn soloist with the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra. Castañeda has an extensive career as a soloist and ensemble member, performing with various orchestras and opera companies, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera Orchestra, and Grant Park Symphony. Additionally, he is on the faculty at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Northeastern Illinois University, teaching oboe and contributing to music programs.
Andrew Snow (Cello)
