Break dance competition details

20 slots available for the break dancing competition.

1 on 1 elimination bracket competition

There will be 3 judges

implying the “10 point Judging system“

There will be Two 1 minute rounds and 1 tie breaker round if necessary.

Score points will be tallied up to determine the winner of each round.

MC Competition

20 slots available for the Rapping competition.

1 on 1 elimination bracket competition

There will be 3 judges

implying the “10 point Judging system“

The rounds will consist of one minute rounds at 1st. 8 bar is back-and-forth rebuttal rounds and “raps script” rounds (rhyming with random words) and for the final brackets we’ll have a freestyle writing round where the judges will give you words that you have to write in a 16 bar format in less than 30 minutes.

Score points will be tallied up to determine the winner of each round.

Graffiti competition

There’s 12 slots available and it’s $20 registration fee for this portion to reserve a spot because that money is going towards the canvas that we’re going to put up .

The canvas is going to be 10 x 10‘ and you get to keep it afterwards.

(that does not include your admission price of $10 so it’s $30 total)

And the $30 fee will cover you for both days of July 17 and August 21.

you need to bring your own paint.

You will have two hours to paint.

You can paint whatever you want.

The judges will tally of the points at the end to determine the winners of this event.

Dj Competition

The Competition Is Saturday August 21st

From 1-6pm

10 slots available for the Dj Competition .

1 on 1 elimination bracket competition

There will be 3 judges

implying the “10 point Judging system“

There will be two rounds for every DJ

one will be testing your scratching skills

And the other will be testing your juggling skills.

You can bring your own double vinyl records if you prefer to go old school

Or bring a USB with your set of scratching sounds and break beabeats to juggle.

We will have a set of technique 1200s.

The mixer that will be used is a Rane 61.

You can bring your headphones and needles and extra DJ equipment if necessary.

The winner will get a really nice trophy that says

“hip-hop Olympics best DJ of 2021”

There is no set time for the competition for the DJs it’s from 1 to 6 PM as soon as we get enough participants we will start that category.
