Hey guys, welcome to the 3rd Rivals Tournament!This is an open tournament for any and all skill levels. As always, this a social tournament that will feature a 1v1 and 2v2 Division.
Play Overview:
Each Player will be given one ball each and a 3rd ball will be placed in the middle of the court. Once the game begins, players will only be able to throw the ball in their hand and the one in the middle. Each player will stand on either side of a 4' x 50' Court. During play, players must stay in the confines of the boundaries, or else lose a point.
If no clear winner is decided after all 3 balls have been thrown, that match is a draw and the point will be replayed. It will be a best of 5 for each match during Elimination and Round Robin. Time permitting, this will feature a Double Round Robin- Double Elimination.
The teams picked for 2v2 will be determined based on how the individual performs in the 1v1 division during ROUND ROBIN. First place in round robin will be paired with last place and so on.
The 3 Champions of the tournament will receive the coveted Rivals Headband. The honor and privilege to wear it, will become yours.
The gym opens for us at 8:30 A.M. and we will begin playing at 9:00 A.M.
We have the gym from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 P.M.
