The Chicago Blues Explosion is fronted by two veteran Chicago Blues Musicians who started out as sidemen in Chicago playing behind many established Blues Music Icons such as Lonnie Brooks, Hubert Sumlin, Jimmy Rogers and other established musicians in the Chicago area. Both Biscuit Miller and Steve Arvey learned from these Artist/Entertainers for years and were influenced to front their own bands and be Bandleaders who would become successful in their own right. Biscuit Miller and the Mix toured all over the USA and Canada bringing its own special brand of funky blues grooves mixed with catchy lyrics and melodies that kept people coming to shows and dancing. Steve Arvey formed the band West Side Heat and created a mix of West Side Chicago blues mixed with rock and roll. Both Biscuit and Steve released albums and CD’s and gained popularity in many markets.
