About this Event
Grown on the hills of Tuscany on some of the most beautiful landscapes and soils in the world comes one of the noblest Italian grapes: Sangiovese. The appellations of Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti Classico represent the best expressions of the grape, where history, climate, and winemaking skills produce some of the most elegant, age-worthy Italian wines.
Join Alberto Martinez-Interiano (DipWSET, IWS & Italian Wine Ambassador) to explore the history, terroir, and unique characteristics of the Sangiovese grape and typical profiles of these two regions, including insights on key producers and latest developments. Examples of both wines will be opened for tasting and evaluation.
Instruction will be provided in-person at 309 S Cloverdale St, Seattle, WA 98108.
Tuesday, September 28, 4:00 - 6:00 pm
