**Attention Parents of Youth Ages 8–13 (as of April 1, 2025)!**� Does your child love to shoot hoops? If so, we invite them to join **Cheyenne Elks Lodge #660** for our annual **Hoop Shoot Competition** on **January 18, 2026** at **Beast Gym (2900 Sunflower Rd)**.
The Elks have proudly hosted this nationwide Hoop Shoot for over 50 years. With grit and determination, your child could advance from our local contest to the **state tournament** (Feb. 7, 2026 in Casper, WY), the **regional tournament** (Mar. 14, 2026 in Colorado Springs), and even the **national competition** (Apr. 18, 2026 in Chicago, IL).
Participants will compete in one of six categories:
* Boys 8–9
* Girls 8–9
* Boys 10–11
* Girls 10–11
* Boys 12–13
* Girls 12–13
� Important details:
* Proof of age is required
* Each contestant will shoot 25 free throws
* Top finishers in each category advance to state
* **No cost to participate**
* Registration opens at **9 AM**
