About this Event

Join local archaeologists Peter Carrington and James Dixon to examine the archaeological evidence for the development of Chester Rows from the Roman period through to the 17th century.

While this may be a familiar story to some, this new tour will place the emphasis on discussion of the archaeological evidence for that story, why we think we know what it means, what its shortcomings are, and what else we would really like to know about it. Suitable for all.
