About this Event
Come one, come all to the Chesapeake City Pet Parade - Don your best outfit, strut your stuff, and show off all that cuteness! The parade will begin promptly at NOON, with lineup/check-in beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the old elementary school (214 Third Street). The parade will follow the regular route along Bohemia ending at the loop near Pell Gardens where you will find a host of vendors. Prizes will be awarded in front of Cafe on the Bay immediately following the parade for the following categories: Best Dressed, Best Group, Most Creative, Pet/Owner Look-alike, and a Judge's Choice! Costumes are not required but are strongly encouraged! We hope you and your pets will join us this year! The ticket price is $5.00 per human (the pets are free) with all proceeds going to the Cecil County Animal Shelter! You can sign up on the day of the event if needed. Please bring exact change.
