Join us at BUSBOYS AND POETS in Takoma Park, D.C., for a fun evening. Former Washington journalist Cheryl Mattox Berry will do a Q&A and read excerpts from her new novel. MISSISSIPPI JUSTICE has some fascinating plot lines, a modern-day love story complicated by two murders in the same family which occur decades apart. The book grapples with contemporary issues, while also recapturing an era in which justice often proved fleeting. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres provided!
Cheryl Mattox Berry is a former broadcast and print journalist and Northwestern University alum. Mississippi is her third novel, following MEMPHIS BLUES and CAPITAL SINS.
