Welcome to Chenderit School - a good school with an outstanding Sixth Form as graded by Ofsted in September 2022!
Our annual Open Evening will allow our prospective applicants and their parents and carers to get a true sense of what makes our school such a unique environment in which students thrive academically and personally.
Tickets will allow prospective students and their parents and carers into one of three talks from the school's Headteacher, Chris Billings, where information will be shared about what life is like in our school and the transition programme, alongside words from some of the school's current students who will give an honest account of what it is like to be a Year 7 student, but also what their journey will be like through their 7 years at Chenderit. Ticket numbers for each talk are limited to 4 tickets per booking but if one talk is fully booked, please book on to another throughout the evening.
Outside of the ticketed talks, prospective students and parents and carers will be able to tour the school to view each of the subject areas that students study as a Year 7 student and beyond. Subject teachers and current students will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have about studying each subject, as well as give you more information about what wider support and opportunities are on offer across the school.
