Training Objectives:
- Describe the CHEMPACK Program
- Determine which situations require CHEMPACK assets
- Understand how to request a CHEMPACK
- Learn about CHEMPACK deployment option
Who should participate:
- Fire: First Responders; scene management; HAZMAT; Decon
- EMS: Patient Assessment, Treatment, and Transport
- Hospital personnel: Receipt of Decontaminated and Contaminated (self-dispatched) patients. May need to set up your Decon equipment!
- Public Health: Oversightof County or Regional CHEMPACK Mutual Aid Plan(s)
- Law Enforcement: Transport of Materials; scene security
- OES: Notification to Cal-OES, potential EOC operations
