About the Instructor
Dr. Srinivasan (Vasan) Ambatipati
Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering & Department Head, McNeese State University
Dr. Vasan brings more than a decade of industry experience in oil & gas R&D, catalysis, and process development—along with extensive academic research, a U.S. patent, and presentations at numerous international conferences.
He began his career as a plant operator in 1996 and earned his Ph.D. from Clarkson University in 2010.
He is a member of AIChE, ACS, and SPE.
