Cheltenham Animal Shelter's Animal Experience Dog Session

Our Animal Experience sessions are a unique opportunity for young people aged 5-15 years old to attend the shelter during the school holidays to meet our animals and learn about responsible pet ownership in a fun, relaxed environment.

During the session the children will get to create a craft or enrichment item, learn about how to safely interact with animals and understand their behaviour, as well as experiencing a dog walk/ training activity.

*Please note: spaces are limited to ensure we follow government guidelines, remain socially distanced, and to keep the children as safe as possible. The session may take place outdoors or indoors depending on government guidelines at the time. The children will only come into contact with the education team*
