🎒FREE SCHOOL UNIFORM EVENT🎒Are you in need of school uniform for your 4-16 year old but are struggling with the cost of living at present or want to help us reduce the amount of clothes being sent to landfill? Then why not come along to our event, where you can pick up some FREE pre-loved school uniform, provided by charity Essex Free School Uniform. Open to everybody- do not need to be in receipt of benefits.

(Please be aware, all items will be subject to availability and there is no guarantee that we will have all items that you need)
What do I need to do?
You must PRE-ORDER any uniform needed by 3rd July 2024 using the QR code on the poster or this link:

You must then attend the event on 31st July 2024 10.30am-12.30pm to collect your order.
If you DO NOT place an pre-order,
There will also be some tables of donated uniform available for browsing on the day if you do not place a pre-order.
🎨ARTS/ CRAFTS 🎨
Alongside our Free School Uniform event, we will also be running some free crafts and activities for local families to take part in. Everyone welcome, whether you are collecting your pre-ordered uniform/ browsing the donated uniform tables or not.
ℹ️ INFORMATION STANDS ℹ️
In the hall, we will also have a number of information stands run by various local organisations, so that you can gain advice and support for your family at the same time
⭐DONATIONS ⭐
Do you have any good quality, pre-loved school uniform available for 4-16 year olds that you would be happy to donate to local families in need? If so, please drop your donations in!
Date donations accepted: Monday 8th July – Friday 20th July 2024 (not weekends)
Time: 10am-4pm
Location: Christ Church Chelmsford, New London Road, CM2 0AW (Access car park from Bradford Street)
Where to drop items in
There are 2x brown wheelie bins labelled "school uniform donations". Please pop items in the bins.
Bin 1: In the car park of Christ Church (Bradford street entrance)
Bin 2: At the New London Road entrance (next to church sign)
Items needed

Must be in good condition, clean and without stains.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Pre-ordered uniform MUST be collected on 31st July 2024 between 10.30am-12.30pm- we are unable to hold/ store this for you for a later date- so please only place a pre-order if you know you will be able to collect it
* Essex Free School Uniform Charity operate all year round. They are Colchester based but can look at supporting families across Essex where possible- to find out more about their project, visit their facebook page

* We will have refreshments available throughout the event
* There are toilets including disabled access and baby changing toilets on site
* Access to the Youth Hall is step free. If you have any accessibility issues you would like to discuss before attending the event, please send us a PM or contact our Community Connector [email protected]
* Children are very welcome at the event. Children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer at all times and parents/ carers must remain on site (children cannot be dropped off)
