📕 Storybook Creations: Mixed Media Collage Workshop
📗 Learn how to make beautiful mixed media collages using vintage book pages. You will be given a secret collage pack to get creative with colours, textures, and tell your own unique story.
📍 Location: John Lewis, Floor 2

📕 The CFY Bookshelf Window Mural
📗 Pop by and watch local artist, Juliet Townsend, create this year’s window bookshelf mural! This time you’ll find this opposite Chelmsford Indoor Market on Exchange Way (the original Queenies unit). See the window transform and let her know your favourite reads.. which may just end up on the window bookshelf!

📕 Book Week Bonanza: Family Arts & Crafts
📗 Join us for a day of creativity and fun at The Meadows Shopping Centre as we celebrate Book Week. Dive into the world of storytelling and literature through four exciting art and craft workshops.

📕 Zine Workshop
📗 Join illustrator and author Hayley Wells to learn how to make your own zine. A zine is a small booklet that anyone can make with just an A4 piece of paper (and a little creativity). They can be funny or serious and include whatever you're interested in – the best thing about zines is that there are no rules! This workshop is suitable for ages 5+ and all materials will be provided.

JOIN OUR BOOK TRAIL!
We’re going on a BOOK TRAIL…we’re going to find a good read!
Throughout half-term week (MON 17 – FRI 21 FEB) we’ll be hiding books at a number of locations across the city centre, It’s time for the kids to become the detective in their own story to track them down.
How does it work?
📕Each day we’ll be hiding books at 10 city centre locations
📗Clues to each book’s location will be added to CFY social stories intermittently from 10am on Instagram and Facebook… so make sure you’ve liked and are following @ChelmsfordForYou.
📕If you find the book, it’s yours to keep… it’s really that easy, but you’ve got to be quick!
📗All of our book finders will have the chance to win £100 worth of book vouchers for their school/ pre-school too. There are five vouchers up for grabs and you’ll find instructions on how to enter inside your new book.
